What Is liquid rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, either a “liquid” rhinoplasty or a PDO Thread Rhinoplasty, is a quick procedure that involves the use of dermal fillers and/or PDO Threads to subtly change the shape of the nose. With the use of dermal fillers and/or PDO threads, your provider will aim to straighten the bridge of the nose and create a more lifted tip. Goals are discussed thoroughly before each procedure. Once the procedure is complete, patients can get back to their normal activities almost immediately. This makes the non-surgical rhinoplasty perfect for busy, on-the-go people.  Patients are usually advised to refrain from heavy exercising, wearing makeup, and facial massage for the first 24 hours. Glasses should not be worn for two weeks after the procedure to allow for proper healing. Other than that, most activities are fine to resume right away!

BENEFITS OF A NON-SURGICAL NOSE JOB

A non-surgical nose job with liquid rhinoplasty in Austin offers fast, convenient, and nearly painless treatment with noticeable and natural-looking results that can endure for up to a year. Compared to surgical rhinoplasty, it involves minimal downtime, recovery, and expenses. In just twenty minutes, you can enter our office and leave with a nose that is better contoured, proportional, and enhanced in its beauty. Moreover, if you're unsatisfied with the outcome, the results are temporary and can be reversed.

What is the difference between a “liquid” Rhinoplasty & a PDO Thread Rhinoplasty?

During a “liquid” Rhinoplasty, dermal fillers are used to change the shape of the nose. These fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Although they are usually more of a thick gel-like material than liquid, the name is used to describe the difference between a surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasty. Dermal fillers are very safe and extremely popular. Because they are made from a biocompatible material, there is almost no risk of an allergic reaction.

During a PDO Thread Rhinoplasty, short PDO Threads are placed under the skin on the bridge of the nose. These PDO Threads are made from polydioxanone, which is a sugar molecule that is reabsorbed by the body over a 12-month period. The PDO threads work in two ways; 1) The threads are thick, and provide height and structure to the bridge of the nose and

2) PDO Threads produce a surrounding layer of collage over time, which adds to the height and shape.

How long do non-surgical rhinoplasty results last?

You will see results instantaneously which allows you to determine if the shape is what you are looking for. Shortly after the procedure, you will likely see some swelling, but this should resolve quickly.

Most people can expect to enjoy their results for about 6-12 months on average. This range is so wide because everyone metabolizes the filler and PDO Threads differently.

Why a “liquid” Rhinoplasty instead of a surgical rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is perfect for someone who might want to try out a new look before committing to surgery, or who is not a full surgical candidate and just wants a subtle change to their nose profile. Also, using dermal filler and PDO Threads to shape the nose allows for yearly touch-ups and re-shaping, whereas a surgical rhinoplasty is permanent and does not allow for quick reshaping.

Does a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty hurt?

During the “liquid” portion of the procedure, the injections of the dermal filler feel like mini-bee stings which can be reduced with topical numbing cream. During the PDO Thread portion of the procedure, the entrance point for the PDO Thread is numbed with local anesthetic to ensure maximum comfort.

How much does a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty cost in Austin texas?

The cost for the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is $849 ($899 for non-members).

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A NON-SURGICAL NOSE JOB?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is ideal for individuals seeking nose enhancement without undergoing surgery. It is a suitable option for those who desire cosmetic improvements. However, individuals with functional issues like breathing problems may require an alternative procedure. WHAT TO AVOID AFTER GETTING NOSE FILLERS

After getting a non-surgical rhinoplasty, it is important to follow certain precautions to ensure optimal results. Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area, as it may displace the injected filler. Refrain from engaging in strenuous physical activities for the first 24 to 48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising. Protect your nose from direct sunlight or excessive heat, as it can affect the longevity of the results. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot baths to prevent increased swelling. Refrain from getting facial treatments or massages for at least two weeks to allow the filler to settle properly. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption, as it can dehydrate the body and potentially worsen swelling.
