Giving Back
One of the most gratifying aspects of medicine is that you can use it to improve the lives of anyone around the world. Dr. Turnage spends much of his free time helping to host medical clinics in underserved communities. Some of his favorite places are Pader, Uganda with Africa Renewal Healthcare and Santiago, Dominican Republic with Mission of Hope.
As part of this mission, the staff at Maui MedSpa are able to go on a trip once a year to experience the transformative nature of giving back.

Local Volunteering
Right here in Austin, there is a great need for help in a variety of ways. Two of the organizations Dr. Turnage and the staff regularly volunteer with are My Familys Farm, which is a non-profit that helps young women transition out of foster care and Cedar County Food Bank, a critical need for people that need help with food security.
