Our Phenol-Croton Oil peel is designed for true full face rejuvenation.
Around the mouth: This one of the most effective treatments available for deep “Smokers” lines around the lips. In many cases, these lines are dramatically softened or fully erased.
Nose and between the eyes: Over time, skin in this area can thicken and pores become enlarged. After this peel the skin is incredibly soft with smaller pores.
Forehead: The forehead is an area with high sun exposure and therefore more sun damage. The forehead lines, thinning of skin and dark spots are greatly improved.

How long does it take to recover?
Recovery happens in two stages:
First 2 weeks: The treated skin peels away and fresh new skin emerges. Plan to stay home and rest during this time, so we suggest stocking up on books, shows and easy projects you enjoy. Most patients can wear makeup and return to social activities around 10.
After 2 weeks: The skin will have a light pink hue for about 12 weeks as it continues to regenerate, which is a good thing. It will also be more sensitive, so you’ll need careful sun protection and very gentle cleansers, moisturizers and sunscreen.
How do I take care of my skin after a Phenol-croton peel?
We provide a simple, easy-to-follow routine and all the products you’ll need, each chosen to be comfortable for healing skin.
The “wet” phase (about days 1–3): In the first few days, your skin will be moist. Our aftercare products protect the old skin as it gently loosens from the new skin forming beneath.
The “dry” phase (about days 4-6): Later in the first week, the old skin dries, hardens and begins to slowly come off. Your aftercare products keep you comfortable through this stage.
The new-skin phase: Your fresh skin will be delicate, so it needs gentle cleansing and diligent sun protection. We provide very gentle cleansers and mineral sunscreen that are simple and comfortable to use.
Throughout your recovery, we will be checking in daily and see you for follow-up visits in the office. Our team is always available if you have questions.
Does the phenol-croton peel require cardiac monitoring?
The Phenol-Croton Oil peel is always performed with heart beat monitoring. The Phenol-Croton Oil peel is very safe when performed slowly over a longer period of time. In fact, many studies have shown that when the peel is performed over a one hour period or more, there is very little chance of abnormal heart beats.
