What areas can be treated with Avéli?
Avéli treats cellulite dimples found on the buttocks and outer thigh.
Generally, cellulite dimples on the inside thigh, skin laxity and adipose irregularities are not able to be treated with aveli.
How many treatments will I need?
The great thing about Avéli is that it is a one-and-done treatment. The fibrous cellulite bands that are removed during the treatment do not come back, making each one of these permanently removed. However, it is known that other bands can form, or looser bands can become more apparent over time if weight gain occurs. If this happens, it is possible that new cellulite dimples can form in the future.
How much does Avéli cost?
Aveli cost $1,500 for 5-20 cellulite dimples, OR $2,500 FOR 20+ CELLULITE DIMPLES.
Is there any downtime or restrictions after Avéli?
Immediately after the treatment you will have some swelling and bruising and mild achy discomfort. Most patients go back to day-to-day activity after 24-72hrs. We have will provide an extensive after care instruction sheet for you, however here are some of the pointers for aftercare.
Use over the counter ibuprofen and tylenol. Patient find these are usually sufficient to control any discomfort after Avéli.
Wear compression shorts or pants such a as biker shorts or yoga pants as much as possible for the first 5-10 days.
Avoid any strenuous activities for two weeks after Avéli.
Most patients like to take 1-2 days off work to rest and recover, although some find it okay to go to work the next day as long as the work is not physically strenuous.
You can take a shower immediately after Avéli but you will need to avoid submerging in a bathtub or hot tub for one month.
Does Avéli Hurt?
The procedure uses lidocaine under the skin as an anesthetic making the procedure quite comfortable. (In fact many patients will be on their phone while getting Aveli done!)
Is there bruIsing or swelling?
Yes, bruising and swelling are to be expected and generally fully resolve after 30 days.
How quickly do I see results?
In the first 2-4 weeks after Avéli you will have some swelling and bruising that slowly fades. As the swelling goes down, you will start to see where the cellulite dimples have flattened. The full healed results are seen at day 30-60.
