MicroLaserPeel

The MicroLaserPeel by Sciton is an excellent, medium-depth laser peel that used full-field ablation to remove sun-spots and medium size wrinkles. The LaserMicroPeel is especially suited for patients who need a little more resurfacing than a fractionated CO2 (like a Fraxel) but do not need the deep resurfacing you see with the Contour TRL or Phenol Peels.

Too Much Filler: Simply put, when a lip has too much filler in it, that filler will naturally be pushed out of the lips. In the lip, there is nowhere for this filler to go except up, so the filler naturally is pushed into the area between the top lip and the nose.

For the vast majority of people, 1-2 syringes of filler will not be enough to cause migration. It is only when you get multiple syringes of filler, over a short amount of time, that you risk migration.

Incorrect Filler Placement: Sometimes the filler is placed too far above the lip border. In this case, that small amount of filler that was placed there may spread out and have a migrating effect. It is important to note that this does not create a “channel” for the rest of the filler to migrate. Only the filler originally put above the lip will look migrated.
